𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 4𝒌

𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 4𝒌 is a rack made to emulate my favorite band of the beloved Quintessence hardware EQ unit (by Quintessence Group). That particular EQ band always seemed quite magical, so it was modeled as closely as possible using Ableton native FX for usage in-the-box. Also includes (unrealistic but nice-sounding) analog saturation emulation.

Macro Controls

Magic  
Increase it to boost perceptual clarity.
To match the slight assymetry of the original unit's 4k band as closely as possible, 2 bells and a shelf are carefully adjusted.

Analog
Adds in a bite of brazen sass to simulate the usage of physical gear.
The halfway point (63.5) approximates the analog domain, but you can exaggerate the effect even further if desired.

Output Level
Both Magic and Analog tend to boost the level a touch, so use this to roll it back if needed.
